Although Hurricane Ike was barely a category 3 and a very slow storm,it was still bigger than Hurricane Katrina.The Hurricane Ike has been on a path of distraction these past few days.It made landfall and cost a million of people to evacuate.It is interesting to see how the fourth largest city in the country can still be damaged by the Hurricane Ike,well,nobody can fight or stop mother nature.Let us just hope and Pray that nobody will get hurt and that history won't repeat itself like what have happened during Hurricane Katrina time.

My husband forgot his home key today.My son and I went out to help Ate Loren with something.My husband called me in the afternoon and have told me that he needed to put something on the car so I went home.Well,I thought he is going back to work and I did not know that he was already off work.So,Anna and I went back to the PX where Ate Loren was waiting.My friends and I stayed in the PX for a couple of hours and my husband was outside our house waiting.Well,he could not wait and since I had no signal inside the store,he just opened the window and got in the house.I've told him that he can be a burglar and he should not do that again because if somebody see him,they might think he is really a burglar.

My Busy Soldier

My husband came home today hungry and tired,he had been at the rifle range since early this morning.He was practicing on his marksmanship,and he got a sharpshooter, which is one below an expert.Even though he did not get his forty out of forty we are proud of him.His goal is to one day get all forty rounds in the target.This is part of his training to get ready to deploy.So I am glad he is home now.They try to give him off as much time as possible.No matter how much time he is at home with us,we are still going to miss him when he is gone.
